Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller were two industrialists who earned tremendous amounts of money in the late 1800s. You are going to pick one of the two men to research and then determine whether they should be commended for their philanthropy and good deeds or vilified for their treatment of their workers. Read the website at scholastic.com about the two candidates very carefully. Try to imagine you are reading as you don't know much about these two candidates and see which one you agree with on each issue. You will then have to write a paragraph in support of either Senator McCain or Senator Obama for president. Your paragraph should have three reasons why your choice will be a good president and absolutely nothing regarding the other candidate.
