The States were Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Denver, and Kansas.

The Major Hardship of farmers was droughts, and they were major droughts.

The Major hardship of people in cities was job loss and money loss.

If I were alive during the depression, things would be difficult. Things in daily life would be really hard because of how much loss the Depression caused. The depression caused a lot of job and money loss, which is really important to most people. Money to put food on the table, jobs to make money. This would affect me like CRAZY. No food, money, housing, shelter. This life would suck and it did suck for the people it affected. The depression would explain most problems in modern day life on the account of the stock market crash.

4.IN THE END OF 1929'S AND THE EARLY 1940'S THE STOCK MARKETS CRASHED AND PEOPLE WENT POOR AND HUNGRY. THIS PERIOD OF TIME WAS CALLED THE GREAT DEPRESSION. MANY PEOPLE HAD TO SELL THEIR THINGS IN ORDER TO GET MONEY TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES AND THEMSELVES. BUT THE BLACKS HAD IT WORSE THEN THE WHITES BECAUSE THEIR JOBS WERE TAKEN FROM THEM AND GAVE IT TO THE WHITES. PRESIDENT HOOVER PROMISED THAT THE DEPRESSION WOULD BE OVER IN 60 DAYS AND HE DIDNT DO MUCH FOR IT. SO HE WAS HATED BY MOST PEOPLE AND COOLRIDGE BECAME PRESIDENT. HE DID MUCH MORE THAN HOOVER.THOSE ARE SOME OF THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION.

The people didnt have enough money to farm so they the crops and stuff that they were growing wasnt being sold, so they didnt have enough money to farm so they closed down their farms.

The hardship in the city for people was loss of jobs and they didnt have enough money.

It would be hard to live in the depression because you wouldnt have enough money. There would be no jobs to go to either. We couldnt hang out with our friends like usual because there wouldnt be any money so you could go out. You wouldnt have enough money to get food, so starvation would be a major problem as well. People didnt have enough money to go anywhere. With that you would basically have to stay inside all day.You basically wouldnt be able to do the things that you are used to doing. These are some hardships of the great depression.

If I were alive during the depression it would be hard. We wouldnt have any money to support ourselves or eachother. I would lose my house. I wouldnt be able to pay rent or mortgage.I would lose my car if I had one. If I did have a car I wouldnt be able to even par for gas. I would run low on food. Every one would suffer.
