On June 5, 1947, George C. Marshall laid down the foundation under the conflict of World War II. The United States had earned some $13,000,000 in Economic Aid and Techniqual Assistance to Sixteen European Countries. But the Marshall Plan, as it came to be known, was not just an American program. It was a joint European-American venture, one in which American resources were complemented with local resources, one in which the participants worked cooperatively toward the common goals of freedom and prosperity. Many have been generous in their praise of the Marshall Plan, but perhaps none more than Sir Winston Churchill, to whom it represented "the most unsorted act in history."
Nuremburg Trials…
No trial provides a better basis for understanding the nature and causes of evil than do the Nuremberg trials from 1945 to 1949. Those who come to the trials expecting to find sadistic monsters are generally disappointed. What is shocking about Nuremberg is the ordinariness of the defendants: men who may be good fathers, kind to animals, even unassuming—yet committed unspeakable crimes. Years later, reporting on the trial of Adolf Eichmann, Hannah Arendt wrote of “the banality of evil.” Like Eichmann, most Nuremberg defendants never aspired to be villains.
Formation of the United Nations…
On January 1, 1942, representatives of 26 nations at war with the Axis powers met in Washington to sign the Declaration of the United Nations endorsing the Atlantic Charter, pledging to use their full resources against the Axis and agreeing not to make a separate peace.

The Marshall Plan (from its enactment, officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was the primary plan of the United States for rebuilding and creating a stronger foundation for the allied countries of Europe, and repelling communism after World War II. The initiative was named for Secretary of State George Marshall and was largely the creation of State Department officials, especially William L. Clayton and George F. Kennan.
If i could choose from two presidents i would choose McCain because in March 2008 McCain wants to let the troops from Iraqu come home.Where Obama won't let them come home untill the summer of 2010.Also i would pick McCain because he wants to lower the cost of drugs and expanding community health care centers.Another reason reason i want McCain to win because he wants to advance our military training and weapons, technology and would create national missile defenses to protect America from missile attacks.I also think McCain should also win because to prevent illegial immagration and he wants to build a 700 mile fence bridge that would probably keep the illegial immigrants away. Also McCain should win because he wants to support tax cuts for middle-class families and corporations. These are some reasons why i want Jon McCain to win.
If I had to choose from both candiates I would pick obama. I would pick obams because he wants to reform the NCLB Act. He also wants to do some stuff in the war of irag like Voted for a war-spending bill that would have withdrawn most U.S. troops from Iraq by March 2008. He supports removing most American troops from Iraq by the summer of 2010..Obama also wants to work on Global Warming. He supports reducing greenhouse gases. He also wants to make the U.S. a global leader in fighting climate change by creating an international global warming partnership. Would reward forest owners, farmers, and ranchers who plant trees and restore grasslands. He also wants to help in the health care. He wants to do to create national health insurance program that would cover uninsured individuals. The program would require that all children be covered and would permit young people under the age of 25 to be covered under their parents’ plans. Would fund program by eliminating Bush tax cuts for people who earn more than $250,000 a year. These are the reasons why I like Obama better than McCain.

-Marshall trial was a court trial to deal with war crimes.
