hmmmm...ok well i think the homefield advantage was most important because they were able to get around alot easier than the british because they were familiar with the land. this helped them win the war.

I think that Americans had a very big advantage because they were fighting on their land.but i also think that British had an advantage in the end because they started to know their way around the land.

The best advantage for the Americans was that they had a really good leader, George Washington. The best advantage that the British had was that they had a bigger, Stronger army.

I think that the side with the best advantage is the Americans because they could use the known land to there advantage. They would know where things like rivers, mountains, and grass lands.
That is why they have the best advantage.
I think the most important advantage was that you have a better and more well trained army.
i think that because if you have a better army then you have a better chance of winning and if you have a bigger army you also have a better advantage of winning

I think that the experience was more important for the British. I think it's more important because over time, the British would have found out the layout of the battle field, so the Americans wouldn't have done as well whenever the British found out the layout. That is why the Americans homefield advantage wouldn't have worked as well as experience.
I beleive that homefeild advantage was the biggest advantage for the Americans because they did not have a well trained army. This is an advantage because they Knew the grounds they were fighting at. I beleive the biggest advantage for the British was they had a bigger, more powerful army. This was an advantage because they were fighting against a not so welll trained army. This is why I beleive that homefeild advantage was an advantage for Americans and larger army for the British.
I think that the colonist's had a bigger advantage. They knew the land so well and they all wanted to fight for the country. Although the british had a bigger stronger army they didn't know the land well enough.

I think that the homefeild advantage helped the Americans more than the Britishs experience. Well it is obvoius that the Americans won the war so that proves that the homefield advantage helped more than the experince.

I think that home field advantage that the colonists had was a better advantage because since they knew the land so they could set up ambushes. Also they would gain experience in time.

I think that a major advantage was experiance. I think this because the more experianced a army or navy was the easier a battle would be. You would know more about a wepon or more battle stratages. That is why I think experiance was most important.
I Think The Americans Homefield Advantage Helped Them More Than The Britishs Experience. I Know That Because The Americans Won The War.
Ryan Hannon
I think that the expierience of the Brittish is a bigger advantage because they should have a lot of expierience in fighting on different land so the home field advantage wouldn't have a very big effect on the Brittish
The homefield advantage helped the Americans; the British were less familiar, if at all, with the land.
With and experienced commander such as George Washington, the Americans had good leadership.
I think that the home field advantage was the best advantage. becausethe Britsh had to keep bringinig their troops to America.america also alread would have their army there.

I think that the homefeild advantage was a good advantage but the Brittish had a bigger advantage because they were bigger better and stronger!

I believe that the British had more of an advantage because they knew more about fighting, but the patroits had a good advantage because they were fighting on their own land.

I think that the Americans home field advantage was the most important advantage. But also, the British had way more expierence than America. Which is also very important. Overall I'd say America's home field advantage was most important.
i think being on home base would be a bigger advantage because they know the land better than the british do.
I think that home feild advantage is a better advantage. Due to Americans being able to sneak around because they know their way aruond. But the British would have to travel by roads and be more likely to be snuck up upon.
Sarah Morgan
I think that the American Patriots had the definite advantage over the British army. Even though the British army knew how to battle, that ability would practiccaly be rendered useless if they didnt know where the nearest river, mountain, or town was. Since the Continental Army was able to shape up their fighting abilities, their homfield advantage was a big factor in the winning of the war.
The British had more of an advantage in the war for many reasons. One reason was because they had so many more soldiers than the Continental Army did. Also because they were trained for war much better than the colonist were.

I think that the advantage for the americans really helped us. We knew the land and we were fighting with our hearts and for our people. Not just to get payed. So we had more of an advantage. And it really helped us win.
~!Rosza!~Krafft!~
The americans had a nice advantage because they knew the land. The british also had a advantage because they have the #1 navy in the world. Also they had a much bigger army and the americans did. So overall i say that The British had a bigger advantage.
-HUNTER WEINEL
i think sense the americans had the home feild advantage the war would be in their favor bexause they would know were hidding places would be and the would know where to go to get a good shot on the british troops that were marching down the roads
I think the colonists won because they had better knowledge of the land and they were so persistent to win. The British were well trained and wanted to fight too, but the Hesians didn't really care about freedom just money.

I think that the american advantage has really helped us. This has really helped us win. The americans also had a awesome leader named George Washington. The Americans also had the home field...
Megan Sell
I think that we had a better advantage because we were on our homefield. The British's advantage was that they were a stonger, and more expereinced army.
:]]
Well the British had a bigger and more experianced army. The coloneist had a home field advantage. i think the home field advantage treally helped because the colonist's family were there for support while they were out in the dangerous war. Plus they knew hidding spots, paths, and the town much better. I think that was a very important advantage.
I think we had more of an advantage because of George Washington, and we fought on our land. But then i think British had an advantage because of their bigger and stronger army.
--chelsea brown.
The British had an advantage because they had a larger and more expierenced army. The Americans had an advantage because they were fighting on their own land.
WELL..... i think that since the British had a bigger more experienced army that would help them win the war because they know what they are doing more than the other people :)
OH YEAHH!!! thats what I think!!! :p
I think that the better advantages would be on the British side. Even if their soldiers got paid to be the soldiers for the British they still had more experiance. The only disadvantage they had was that they were fighting in the American Colonies. They also probably weren't as into the fighting since they were paid.
~Madi Graham krakrr:D(:
The British had the advantage because, they had more trained soldiers, the British also had better expereince.
I think the biggest advantage was that the Americans had the home field. They knew all the lands, like to hide to and retreat to. And i think that is one of the biggest reasons why we won! :) A disadvantage for us was that the British had the bigger and more experianced army! The Americans didnt have a big or experianced army at all. The British had the biggest ary in the whole world!

I think that the Homefield Advantage did help the Americans because they new the land and where to secure themselves, which was most important advantage, since it helped them win the war over the British.
I think the homefield advantage was more important because the americans knew where to go and where they could hide from the british. Although the british had a bigger army, they didn't know the land very well so they didn't know if there were obsticles ahead of them. The Homefield advantage helped them win the war.

The americans have that advantage of fighting on their home turf. They knew all the spots to go and knew where everything was. The British weren't really familar with the land
i think it is more important to have some experience than to know home field.... i think this because if you have some experience you will most likely do better in the war, but if you only have the advantage of knowing home field you probably won't do as well as the british
I think that the Homefield Advantage did help the Americans because they knew the land of the colonies better than the British. The Americans knew the best places to set up camp or to practice, where as the British did not. This helped the Americans to win the American Revolution.

I think the most important advantage for the Americans was the fact that they had a great leader. George Washingtom was their leader, and he was a good leader. The British army didn't really have any good leaders. So that was a good advantage for Americans to have George Washington. George Washington had good leadership styles and lead the American army well.
Leah Leinenbach :) :) :)
I think Americans had the bigger advantage because they knew where they were going because of their homeland and the British didn't know where they were going. British also had a bigger army which was an advantage because they had more of a chance to last longer then the Americans.
I think that having a homefield advantage for the americans was more important. If the americans needed reinforcements, they could have more men in a few days. If the British needed reinforcements they would have to wait a while for them to arrive on a ship. The americans also knew all the land they were fighting on. The british could've gotten lost very easily.
Brittany Bayne :)
In my opinion, yes they did both have many advantages over the other side of the battle. The most inportant one though, was that the Americans were fighting on their home soil. They knew it better than anyone else, therefore they knew where to hide when needed, where the best places to shoot from and many other examples. IT gave them a knowledgable advantage. The british may have had many advantages, but so did the Americans and the American's advantages were more important and useful than the British's were.

I think that having the home field advantage was one of the advantages the Americans had. It helped them in many ways. For example, the americans could move around quicker because they new the land. Also when the british marched back to boston, the americans new the land so well they got ahead of them and shot from behind trees.
I think that the Americans had a better advantage. Because if they were on there own home land they would know where to go. They also would be able to navigate better. They would also know the water ways better than the British. That is why I think the Americans had a better advantage.

I believe that "home field advantage" was the most important advantage for the Americans. I think this because they were more familiar with the land then the British. Also, they probrobly had more confidence then the Brits because they knew were they were and they had a little bit of momentum. As you can see, I believe that "Home field Advantage" was the most important advantage for the Americans.
Ok. I think home field advantage helped the colonists a little bit. I think we wouldn't have won without George Washington because of his leaderrrrship. I think this because there were so many loyalists there the patriots didn't dominate the homeland. I think the expetience didn't help the British because of the Patriot fighting style and they weren't used to the tricks George Washington pulled on them.
Alrightyyyyyyy. laterrrrrr
Thomas Jendesky. ;)
I think that having home field advantage was helpful but it wasnt the most helful. Having George washington as a leader was the best thiing for the americans. Altho he retreated her still change the way the beileived and fought. That is why george was the best advantage.
Zakary Hutchison
I think that homefield advantage was most important during the war. The Americans had homefield advantage in this war. This home field made them have more confidence. Also fighting on home soil helps because the soilders know were the landmarks are and know were to hide. This advantage helped them win the war.
Rusty Greer Pd.4
I think that the americans had a huge advantage. I think this because they had homefield advantage. Therefore they would know were everything was such as their forts and also supplies. The british had to start from scratch just to start the war. Therefore without the homefield advantage the americans would have a tuff time winning.
Tyler Stone
Some advantages that the colonists had was home field advantage, which let them know where the Brits where. Also, the colonists had better battle strategy so they could flank the lobster backs. Last, The colonists had a great leader who never gave up and never let down, and he was George Washington. As you can see the colonists had many advantages against the brits.
Thank You , sebastian Moran
The Patriots had many important advantages. The most important one I think was their home field advantage. Since they were own their home land they knew how to get around better than the British. They also knew where everything was. This helped the Americans win the war.
The American's homecourt advantages helped them in the war. they knew the land better so they could maneuver around obstacles. The americans also had the ability to recruit troops faster because they didn't have to travel on a boat. The americans had more confidence in their abilities to win on their own land. The homecourt advantage helped the Americans.
I think that the war was pretty fair because the amaricans knew the land but didnt have suplies. The british had suplies but didnt know the land. The british also had german troops. The british had another flaw they stood out in the open and made noise. A flaw for the amaricans was their troops weren't trained.Thats why the war was close
I think that home field advantage gave the upper hand to the Americans. This was definatley the most important advantage. It gave the Americans the confidence that they needed to overcome the British. You can have all the experiance you want it always helps when you have someone cheering you on. Home field advantage is the best advantage you can have.
I think the best advantage out of each side was that the British had more people. That helped because if more people died they would have more back up. That helps the British they have more people so more people can kill the colonist. The colonist were more likely to die. The British had more ways to attack them with other ways to go around!!!!

I think that homefield advantage was the most important. I think that it is the most important because the colinists didnt have a well trained army. I also think it was the most important because the British didnt know were they were going. So the British could have been lost and the colonists could sneek up on them. That is why homefield advantage was the most important.
i think that the americans had the home field advantage. i think this because they new the land better because its there home land. they also new the water ways. they also new there navigation and routs. this is y they had the advantage.
by robbie eberhardt
I think that the colonists had the better advantage because they knew were all of the important locations are. Also, they could travel the land faster. Navigating boats would also be much easier. Also, the soldiers moral would be boosted being closing to home. There are many more reasons the homefield advantage is better.

I think the home field did help the Americans. So did the old fighting style that the Brits used. The Americans knew the land, all the Brits did was march. Even though the brits had good artilary. That is why I think the Americans had a big advatage.
Jacob Slagle
I believe the Americans had a massive advantage. The biggest advantage was they were on their homefield. With this advantage they were no secret places and get around quicker. And the British didn't know very many places. That's why I believe the Americans had a bigger advantage.

WHEN DOES THE BELL RING? I AM BORED TO DEATH!!! JK!!!! THIS IS KIND OF FUN!!!
The americans homefield advantage was a plus. They knew the layout of the land. They coul build little forts or hidaways. then they could ambush the brits along the way. Although they wernt as strong as the brits they were sneaky. They would shot at them along the way and be hidden while doing so. When they shot the brits didnt know were they came from, and sometimes they would shot at random. he americans deffinetly had a plus when on home field advantage.
