Saratoga was the most important battle of the Revolutionary war. Saratoga was the most significant battle because it was the major turning point of the Revolutionary war. Also, because after it the Americans received help from France, Spain, and other countries. Furthermore, this proved that the Americans had a significant chance at winning the war. Therefore it proved to the other countries that America had a chance so they helped. In conclusion Saratoga is the absolute most important battle of the revolutionary war. -Eric Stauffer
Bunker Hill Bunker hill was very important because it took a lot of British soldiers. The colonists ended up losing but the still took many British. Without it then the British would have been even stronger. In Bunker Hill there was a famous saying by a American commander saying don’t shoot until you see the whites of their eyes. Meaning don’t shoot until they are close because the Americans were low on ammo.
The Declaration of Independence was one of the most important events in the Revolutionary War. One reason is because it gave americans hope for independence. Another reason is because it helped free the colonies from Great Britian and gave us a push toward freedom. My third reason is that when Americans heard about the Declaration and heard it read to them more Americans joined the Continental Army. These are my reasons why the Declaration of Independence was the most important event in the Revolutionary War.
The battle at Valley Forge was an important event in the turning point of the Revolutionary War. It was a time when many soldiers on Washington’s side suffered from smallpox and lack of supplies. This was an advantage for the British who had an experienced army and endless supplies. Even though the necessary supplies lacked, the Americans trudged on. Many men would give up and go in search of their hometown. If they would venture into coming back there were usually threatened by the army. This led them to many other battles and was a closer step to winning independence for the Americans.
The signing of the Declaration of Independence is the most important, because it states that all men are equal. Also the Declaration was the only documentation that formally declared independence from Brittan’s rule. It was the very first time the colonists sent a letter of complaints to the king. The Declaration helped create our country we live in today. That is why we celebrate the 4th of July, and that’s why it is that most important of the Revolutionary War.
The Boston Massacre is the most important event in the fight for independence because it started the battle between America and Britain. If the Americans wouldn’t have gotten angry at the Redcoats and thrown bottles, snowballs, oyster shells, and other stuff we probably all would be British. We also would have no freedom and have to listen to a king or queen. Finally the British would run this country and we might not live how we live now. Thats is why i think that the Boston Massare was the most important event in the Revolutionary War.
I think that the battle of Saratoga was more important. I think this because it was the turning point of the war. The victory helped convince the French that they could safely enter the war on the Americans side. They also got a lot of help from the Spain and other countries. The Americans greatly outnumbered the British but they refused to retreat. On October 17, 1777, they British surrendered and the Americans took about 6000 prisoners as well as many supplies. Roughly the British lost about 1,200 people and the Americans lost only about 400. That is why I think that the Battle of Saratoga was the most important event of the American Revolution.
Saratoga The battle of Saratoga was an important land mark in the revolutionary war because of these reasons. First, it was a turning point in the war because the Americans were not winning the war until this time. Also, the victory over Britain at Saratoga gave the Americans confidence so they didn’t think about losing the war after that they only thought about winning. Last, the Americans made the entire British army surrender which was about 6000 men invading New York from Canada. In conclusion, there are many reasons y the battle of Saratoga is an important part of America becoming independent from the British and King George.
The Declaration of Independence was the most important part of the Revolutionary War. The declaration was signed by 56 delegates from every colony. This document united all the colonies of Britain and changed them into the free nation, The United States of America. The Declaration of Independence made it very clear that America ready to fight for the freedom from Great Britain. The declaration made the colonies decide whether to take the British side or the American side. The Declaration of Independence was the most important part of the Revolutionary War.
I think that the Declaration of Independence was the most important event in the Revolutionary War for many different reasons. It is the most important because representatives would say that they were willing to die for freedom. It is because after it was signed it meant that each state would be independent but united. Then they also announced to the world that they were free from King George III. They would also take any cost to defend their country.
In my opinion, Saratoga is one of the most important events in the Revolutionary War. Saratoga was important because it made France become one of America’s allies. The Americans had a chance in winning the war against Brittan because they had France to help them, and help them for the same cause: independence. France sent over Marquis de Lafayette, which became a helpful aid and offered his services to General George Washington. Lafayette joined the American battle despite of what King Louis XLLL said. It showed the American people that they weren’t the only country believing in being independent from Great Brittan, but that other countries believed in the cause as well.
Even though many different things happened during the Revolutionary War, I think that the creation and signing of the Declaration of Independence was the most important. Without the Declaration, Continental Congress would have no written basis of their dissent from Britain. The Declaration stated why and how the American patriots were leaving the English government, and what rights the colonists should have. Since the newly-formed continental army and other colonists could read transcripts of the document, it raised the army’s morale and fighting spirit, and also got more colonists to fight for independence. It might have also shown British rulers that the Americans were more than just rebels, and were instead preparing to start a full-fledged war for their rights. It might have even sparked off future women’s and African American rights movements. Even though the battles and campaigns of the war were very crucial towards independence, they might not have even happened without the Declaration.
I think that the signing of the Declaration of Independence was the most important event during the revolutionary war. It was because it was a document that established the United States as a nation. It was signed on July 4, 1776, signers came from 13 colonies. It was held in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania State House. The representatives said that they were willing to die for their freedom. But after it was fully signed, every state came independent but united. Then they said that the world would be free from King George. Also, all men had to be equal. That’s why it was the most important event during the revolutionary war.
The Battle at Bunker Hill was a very important event. It was very important because the Americans were able to beat the British even though the Americans had about half as many of soldiers as the British. The Americans also had less skill then the British and the British were the number one ranked army at the time. The Americans fought for independence and the British only fought for money so they didn’t fight as hard. Also, almost every colony for the American side came to fight except for Georgia which showed that the majority of the people wanted freedom from the British. Lastly, this event shows that if you try hard enough at something you really want but it seems impossible, you can still achieve it.
I think The Declaration of Independence is the most important event in the Revolutionary War because without it, we would still be fighting will a lot of the colonies. We also would not have the free Independence and rights that we have today. The United States Declaration of Independence is a saying, adopted by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.It announced that the Thirteen American Colonies went at war with Great Britain were now independent states. The birthday of the United States of America,Independence Day, is celebrated on July 4, the day the of the Declaration was approved by Congress. This is why I think the Declaration is the most important event in the Revolutionary War, and you should too!
I think the signing of the Declaration of Independence is the most important for many reasons. The Declaration of Independence is important because it says that “All men are equal!” Next, the Declaration signing is important because after everyone signed we got freedom and independence throughout the country! Finally, the Declaration singing is important because many famous and important people signed the document! That is why I think the signing of The Declaration of Independence is the most important event that happened during the Revolutionary War!! :)
BUNKER HILL June 17, 1775 the battle of Bunker Hill occurred. It was an important event because even though the Americans lost they still won. They won in a way because the Americans didn’t even have half the soldiers but they took out half the British soldiers that were there. The British weren’t fighting for anything but money the Americans for fighting FREEDOM,. This was a important event in the Revolutionary War.
The battle of Lexington and Concord was a very important event in history!
On April 19th 1775 shots were fired between the British and American troops. The British chose to march to Concord because it was an arms depot. That meant that the Americans had stored weapons there. British troops had occupied Boston and they were on there way to Concord while they passed through Lexington. Still, no one is sure who fired the first shot. It is known as the shot heard around the world. Also it was the time when Paul Revere road around saying “the British are coming, the British are coming!” As you can see this was a very important time in history. Rosza Krafft

The Most Important Event In the Revolutionary War.
I think the most important battle of the Revolutionary war is the battle of Long Island. I think it’s more important because, after defeating the British, General George Washington, commander in the continental Army, brought his army to defend New York City. There he established defenses and waited for the British to attack. In July, the British Under General Howe’s authority arrived on Saten Island. There they were reinforced for over a month and a half, bringing in their total force of about 32,000 men. On august 22, the British arrived on Long Island, and after five days, the British finally attacked the American forces. On august 29, the British won by General Washington evacuating to Manhattan.
I think that the Declaration of Independence was the most important thing in the American Revolution. I think it was the most important because the Americans were free from the British. Now with the British not being able to just do what ever they want. The Americans can be more independent with themselves. I also think it was the most important because they don't have to pay for all the stupid taxes that Britain made up. Without having the Declaration of Independence, today we would probably still be ordered around by Britain. Now today we still celebrate the signing of the Declaraiton of Independence.
This is why I think the declaration of independence is the most important thing that happened in the revolutionary war. First the declaration was the thing that gave us freedom. Next the declaration expresses how the Americans feel about the British. Last the declaration is the piece of paper that keeps are freedom. That is why I think the declaration of independence is the most important thing that happened during the revolutionary war.
The Battle of Bunker Hill was a very important event in history. It occurred on June 17, 1775. It was in Boston, Massachusetts. The British attacked the Americans but the Americans were told not to fire until they could see the whites of the enemies’ eyes. The British ended up winning the fight at a great cost. This was a very important event in history.
